First of all it's Hot.
The straw building is coming along nicely, if you want to help Please call. There are different ways to do this, we (K) built a frame and filled it in with straw. Now we are in the process of putting mud on it. To fill the cracks mix clay, straw and water. to cover the bales it's just clay and water. I don't know for sure what happens with the next coat but I think we will add sand or lime stone to clay and water. It does stay fairly nice in there oh to have a house built like that. Someday
Oh joy, a soon to be mommy cat. anyone want a kitten?
He's soo big. and addicted to the toy in front of him.
Peas, so much fun. she thinks she can feed herself.
She didn't know I was taking this, out for a nap.
People keep asking how we are doing with the DS, to those who are wondering, we are lucky. Bella doesn't have any of the major health issues that comes with DS. She is on track as far as development goes, and she is a happy baby. we know hat there will be trials in the future and I pray that God gives us the strength and patince to handle everything. We know there is a very high chance of us having more children with DS and we are ok with that (right now). I only have one thing to say, I may have my baby with me for my whole life. na na na na na. :P I so hope that one day she will be able to live on her own, but I will be happy to have her with me.
Right now I am dealing with something bigger than upturned blue eyes. Deppression, and a very nasty rash.

yup. i think straw buildings are the wave of the future. if i happen to survive the apocalypse, i hope you do to, so that you can give me some tips on buiding my new house from straw (assuming there won't be an apocalypse II!). in the mean time, i'll just admire your straw barn.
oh, and go 'bella- way to eat those peas!
