I'm only a couple days late putting this on here. I've been trying to put the picture on here, but the Internet connection at our house sucks. Ya for dial-up. Not a whole lot going on other than trying to find a spot for all the wonderful gifts we received. and munching on anything I can without having to cook it. Any of you reading this may think (unless you know) I'm weird, but I can't wait for the snow. I don't like it when it gets cold, in the 40's and just sits there. The rain is the worst this time of year, at least snow is dryer. It looks better than all this brown dead stuff, but once it snows I'm ready for it to warm up.
Now that all of you know I'm weird and strange, I was going through our receipts and found the one for the pregnancy test I bought. I think I'm going to keep it and hide it in some pictures somewhere. that way we will always have proof of the day we knew I was pregnant, April 14Th 2008.
How your baby's growing:Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.See what your baby looks like this week.
