Only one more week till I'm half way there! Yesterday the baby was doing flips (I think), so when Kevin and I were sitting down to read I grabbed his hand and stuck it on my belly. It took about five minites before the baby moved agian, I asked him if he felt it and he thinks he did. He may not be thrilled but I am. Not alot of difference from last week, but it will be fun to compare with the next baby or two or three or...

How your baby's growing:Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom —about the size of a large heirloom tomato. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.See what your baby looks like this week.Note: Every baby develops a little differently — even in the womb. Our information is designed to give you a general idea of your baby's development.

IT WORKED!!!!! This is the forth time today I've tried to uplode pictures. So these are our new birds,

the big one is a goose and the little one is a chicken

this is a turkey

and here is a duck

We have 36 chickens, 2 geese, 2 turkeys (thankgiving and christmas according to K) and 5 ducks. They are so cute, and fun to watch. The poor geese get walked on by everyone and the ducks don't know what to do with the chickens. Then everyone has to try and get what the other has in their beak. Wouldn't it be nice if all animals stayed babies?

So exciting to feel the baby move! Soon Kevin will be able to see the baby flipping without touching your stomach (although, you want be sleeping as well then) :).
